Thermal / Fluids Design Engineer - BWX Technologies, Inc.
- Barberton, OHResponsibilities include:
Provide fluid flow and heat transfer performance design and analysis of components for nuclear power systems to assure adequate functional design.
Work with large data sets to infer trends and improve analysis techniques.
Design and develop test hardware, instrumentation, data acquisition hardware/software, and test plans.
Work with test technicians to fabricate test hardware and test setups.
Assist in the operation of tests.
Process test data, report results, and support data interpretation and understanding.
Work with other design and manufacturing engineers in development of design of components to be manufactured by BWXT Nuclear Operations Group.
Review fabrication drawings to ensure they satisfy functional design requirements.
Interface with and support development activities including testing and analysis of steam separation equipment.
Communicate information and status orally and in written form.
The selected candidate will work in a team comprising of thermal/hydraulic, structural, manufacturing, welding, project and QA engineers to evaluate and optimize pressure vessel designs.
The candidate will also be working closely with manufacturing and project engineers to resolve fabrication related issues.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor's degreen in Mechanical Engineering or in applicable field required, Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of 4 years' of experience or PhD in lieu of experience Knowledge of single-and two-phase fluid flow and heat transfer analysis tools and methods, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
Candidate must be able to obtain and retain a DOE clearance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
