Cost Estimator
Weare currently seeking a Cost Estimator for Babcock and Wilcox. This positionwill be based in Barberton, Ohio with occasional travel to our Exton, Pa.office.
Responsibilities include:
Preparation of proposal and contract material cost estimates and pricing for boiler and environmental equipment as well as preparing estimates for ash handling equipment and products, including construction estimates.
Work from drawings, specifications, supplier quotations, engineering standards, estimating data/programs/databases, previous similar estimates and other information to assist in the development of estimates.
Develop complete estimates including material costs, man hours, purchased goods, freight and service costs, engineering and project management costs, commercial and other appropriate costs as required for cost tabulations and price approval requests.
Provide support for Proposal and Project Management, Accounting, Purchasing, Scheduling, Construction and other functions on details, quantities/weights
