Job Title: Safety Manager Under the direction of the VP of Sprinkler Operations, performs all essential duties and responsibilities for maintaining, updating and implementing safety programs.  Essential Duties / Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for maintaining, updating, and implementing safety programs that incorporate required OSHA training and responsible for record keeping. Chair all Safety Committee meetings within the organization. Inspect, implement and monitor work site in compliance with OSHA and EPA. Interface with regulatory bodies (OSHA, EPA, and State/Local Regulators). Provide advice, support, training, and reporting to all levels of management and workforce to achieve HSE objectives and maintain compliance. Ensures that the company is in compliance with local, state, and federal workplace environmental health and safety regulations. Monitor and participate in accident investigations to ensure root-cause analysis is appropriately conducted and corrective action implemented. Serves as corporate expert on specific safety and health programs. Manage the site-specific safety program to ensure a safe environment for employees working on site. Drives and promotes zero incidents through HSE culture. Tracks, validates and summarizes health and safety performance throughout the company. Understanding of claims management and workers' compensationreporting requirements. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to conduct job site visits. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Education / Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Safety & Health, EH&S Management or related field is required. 7-10 years experience in EHS Construction industry required. Must hold an OSHA Outreach Instructor Certification for Construction or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of assuming this role required. Strong knowledge of fundamentals of construction safety, accident prevention, occupational injury, human factors, industry safety criteria, risk management and incident investigation techniques and methods required. Professional certification from BCSP preferred. Strong verbal skills which influence, lead, and coach others within the organization required. Display strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills. Safety Coordinator must be detail oriented and possess strong verbal, written, organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Sitting, standing, walking for an extended period of time. Required to stoop, kneed, crouch, crawl and balance.  Climb stairs and ladders at/to elevated heights. Requires use of hands and fingers to reach, feel and handle objects, tools or controls. Requires good, close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Talk, hear and see. Exposure to inclement weather, high and/or confined precarious places, fumes and airborne particles. Ability to drive a vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license. Ability to life up to 50 lbs. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
