Sr Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer position will lead the development and implementation of traditional and advanced manufacturing technologies for the production of equipment and components for small nuclear reactors.   Job Description/Duties: Coordinates activities with customers, internal and external suppliers, and other stakeholders. Works with internal and external suppliers to design, develop and implement production capability based on product requirements.  Developes manufacturing process plans and coordinates with tooling and equipment sources for construction and validation.  Reviews assembly operations, component designs, and corresponding details to verify manufacturing feasibility.  Supports capacity planning and strategy development for manufacturing processes.  Assists with capital and tooling analyses, strategies, justification, and acquisition.   Supports preparation of manufacturing cost estimates for a variety of equipment such as pressure vessels and electro-mechanical components.  Calculates production, labor, and material costs.  Provides input to production schedules.    Job Qualifications/Requirements: Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering related disciplines is required. Must have a minimum of 7 years of relative experience. Must have knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials. General knowledge of project engineering activities (task plans, schedules, etc.) Hands-on manufacturing experience for industrial equipment and familiarty with both traditional and advanced manufacturing methods. Must have demonstrated the ability to lead teams of technical people and have strong written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to effectively prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards. Strong team player with the ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers. Experience with manufacturing for nuclear reactor applications is desired, but not required. Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
