Advisory Engineer

Description   B&W is looking for experienced industry engineers to join their existing Field Service team.  In combination with the District Engineer, other Service Engineers and Sales, an Advisory Engineer will market, develop, propose and manage Field Managed Contracts (FMC)   Position Responsibilities include: Ability to manage multiple contracts of various sizes, scopes and durations at one time Interacting with external customers, A&Es and vendors Interacting with B&W Engineering, manufacturing and purchasing in FMC project development and execution Defining scope and proposing projects to meet customer needs or wants Reviewing customer specifications to define project/proposal scopes Developing project estimates and generate PARs Maintaining accurate FMC contract cost versus estimate records Participating in onsite meetings and activities as required  Preparing technical engineering or project reports Developing new technical solutions to address customer issues and problems Supervising or directing other service engineers on project support activities Training other service engineers on FMC project execution Assisting DE in office responsibilities (responding to customer calls , scheduling, etc.) in DEs absence  Promoting Inspections and parts sales  Training new sales engineers  Leveraging existing customer and vendor relationships  Assisting with R&D Qualifications BS in Engineering or similar project management experience 10 years Field Service experience Good communication and technical knowledge skills Working knowledge of bowl mill type pulverizers Experience with bowl mill journal assemblies Knowledge of worm drive and double reduction type gearboxes 180000EU

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
