Sr. Network Manager

Description  Position Overview This position is part of B&W's Global IT Operations team reporting to the Sr. Director of Infrastructure & Operations. The Sr. Network Manager will manage a team of engineers responsible for the development, implementation and support of a reliable, secure and scalable global voice and data network. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing a complex global data network and proven ability to ensure high levels of voice and network availability. This is a hands-on position and will require the ability to lead a team in voice and network design, execution and support. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle multiple functions simultaneously and independently.  This position will be based in Barberton, OH.    Responsibilities  Develop and deploy strategic voice and network plans to meet current and future business requirements Provide technical expertise and problem resolution for escalated requests Support global routers, switches, WLAN's, firewalls, and remote access Evaluate new and existing technologies to meet business requirements Manage vendors to ensure strategic, cost-effective, reliable partnerships Design and execute plans to remediate voice and networkrisks and outages Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation of policies, processes, and procedures Manage deployment of infrastructure voice and network technologies consistent with corporate standards Provide guidance and mentor less senior members of the voice and network team including off shore IT operations staff Experience managing a geographically dispersed team   Qualifications   Required Skills Expertise with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and VPN concentrators Expertise with Cisco Call Managers Expertise with Video Conferencing Expertise with SIP trunking Expertise with Cisco Prime & Solarwinds monitoring and management tools Expertise with Fortinet Firewalls Expertise in Riverbed WAN Optimization Extensive experience with IP suite of protocols Microsoft Application Suite with Visio Excellent communication and customer service skills with a natural aptitude for dealing with people Excellent time management skills, must be capable of multi-tasking in a high workload environment  Preferred Skills Cisco Nexus 7k, 5k, 2k experience Citrix NetScaler SDM Wan SAN switching, iSCSI, FCOE   Education and Experience  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field  Minimum 3 years' experience in managing a technical team; or an equivalent combination of education and experience A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a Cisco networkarchitecture, engineering, and support role. A minimum of five (5) years' experience in network design, implementation, and support of large Enterprise networks. CCNP, CCVP, or CCSP certification is required.  CCDP and/or CCIE strongly preferred.  Extensive experience may be substituted for certification Possess a thorough working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol function, Ethernet topology, advance routing protocol (i.e. BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP) and Cisco router and switch installation and configuration. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
